Units & Classes

Each Unit type differs in the weapons it can wield and the way it moves around the map. Knowing each Unit's special characteristics is key to dominating the field of battle.

Reclassing

Strengthen Your Party by Reclassing

In the Battle Preparations menu, you'll be able to change the Class of Units by choosing from a selected set of Classes. Once changed, you can always return a Unit to its original Class.

Take Navarre the Myrmidon for example... If you want a Unit with excellent mobility, Reclass him into a Cavalier. Or Reclass him into a Curate if you don't have any healers in your party.

Characters who have been Reclassed can be returned to their former Classes at any time when in the Battle Preparations menu. There is no limit to the number of times a Unit can be Reclassed, but you can only have a certain number of each Class in your party.

* Certain Classes, such as Lords and Thieves, cannot be Reclassed.
